TheResumeCenter.com is an online resume writing service that has been in existence since 1998 and although the resume service has existed for a long time, there are many mixed reviews about them on the internet. As a result, I decided to investigate the service myself so I could write my review of their service.
They also claim to have a 100% money back and satisfaction guarantee which ensures that if a client is not happy with the work produced, they will continue working on the resume or return the client's money. After looking through theresumecenter.com website, I was quite impressed. Unfortunately, after making an order and receiving it, I wasn't so pleased.
The Resume Center Quality
I made an order under the "5 years or less" package for a resume. The prices weren’t very expensive but they were definitely not cheap either. I paid for a resume from a standard writer who had supposedly been trained to the standards of best-selling author and founder of theresumecenter.com, James Innes.
I received the resume two days after placing my order. However, the order was really disappointing. There were so many important things that were omitted. The Keywords added to the resume were also placed obviously without being integrated into the resume to make it pleasing to read.
Another unfortunate thing is that this resume help service does not have a customer support mechanism in place. If you have any complaints with your work, your only option is to use the text chat to communicate with your writer. So, I had to ask my writer for about 2-3 other revisions before my resume became presentable.
A potential client cannot ask customer support any questions because there is no means to speak with customer support on theresumecenter.com until you're logged in. This makes it hard for potential clients to ask questions.
TheResumeCenter. com Delivery
Frankly, this service looks very impressive, especially since it was founded by James Innes. However, getting Innes to write your resume is very expensive and definitely above the means of many people. So, we have to depend on buying the resume help from standard or senior writers.
Unfortunately, the standard writers don't seem to be writers that are very good at their job, judging from the resume I received. The writer simply pulled some of the facts I provided and arranged them (clumsily) into a template given to him, something I could do myself.
